What to do over the Spring School Holidays in Sydney

The Entertainment Quarter or EQ (old Fox Studios site)

The Entertainment Quarter used to run a school holiday program but they appear to have ditched that idea. Instead they host some child friendly facilities and run a number of child friendly activities which kind of amounts to the same thing I guess.

Monkey Mania

This play centre is equipped to handle kids from the ages of one to twelve and includes a large bouncy castle. They also have electric kiddies go-karts, a dedicated toddlers area, party rooms and of course a café.

Child Friendly and Fun

EQ offers various other child friendly activities but at a price. It will all add up if you spend a lot of time here.

The National Maritime Museum

The Maritime Museum usually makes a make a good fist of things for kids to do over the Spring School Holidays.

Pony Rides at Centennial Park

pony rides centennial park australiaHi Mum, look at me!

Your children may enjoy a hand–led, 10 minute pony ride in Centennial Park. Suitable for kids aged 2 up to 11. You can buy tickets from Visitor Information in Banksia Way not far from the Kiosk on the day you want to do it.

Can you ride your pony if it is raining?

The Pony Rides will only go ahead if the weather allows and will be cancelled if it is wet. Children must make sure Mummy, Daddy or some other big person comes along for the ride.

Please follow the link below for more on this and other fun things for the kids to do.

Kids on the Coast

The Coastal Environmental Centre (CEC) in North Narrabeen has wealth of natural beauty and splendour on its doorstep. With a little assistance from Mother Nature, your children will learn that is much more to the coast than sandcastles and surf.

Meet the locals

From the creatures that live on the land, to those that live in the sea, to those who live a more precarious lifestyle somewhere in between. The school holiday programs mix play with learning to ensure a positive and fun time is had by all. Suitable for kids from 5 to 12 years old.

Spot on Children’s Festival Riverside, Parramatta  – 1st to 5th October 2019

The kids transform the riverside during the school holidays with their imagination and creative flair. The joy of singing, dancing and just playing games of make-believe is a gift youth. The Spot on Children’s Festival is a lot of fun and the child still within you will want to take part. There will also be movies, live theatre and spell binding story-telling.
